For this weeks inquiry post I’ve decided to switch it up, and focus on how incredible the warm sunny weather we received this weekend was. Most importantly however.. . how to use this beautiful weather to your fitness advantage! I highly recommend everyone to use these sunny days as an opportunity to take your exercise outside, wether this means to go for a run, play some sports outdoors, or even go for a walk. It’s not always warm and sunny in the weeks of early spring so don’t waste it by spending the day inside! On Saturday, I was able to take advantage of the amazing weather and perform my longest/best recorded run ever!

This run was as always a fantastic way to get out around Victoria but was ever so enjoyable due to the weather. I was even able to stop by Finnerty Gardens, which is already beginning to blossom.

Just gorgeous. After utilizing my Saturday outside in the great weather, I was hungry for more on Sunday. Luckily I had the perfect opportunity to do so again with more fitness and outdoor fun. My weekly 11 a side soccer intramural games. This Sunday happened to be the first round of the playoffs as well! So with the increased stakes the beautiful weather could not have arrived at a better time. We won 2-0 and I scored one of the two as well. After the awesome game, I went for a little extended walk around the neighbourhood later to get one last taste of the sun before homework time. Outdoor activities and fitness in amazing weather is one of life’s true joy’s, and it’s even better during the weekend. I hope your weekend was as great as mine!
